Movies I Want To See

There is a fairly extensive list of movies I have yet to see, or want to see again for one reason or another. Although I like to consider myself fairly experienced in the types of movies I have seen, I still haven't seen quite a few. Take Caddyshack for example. I have never seen more than a 15 second clip of it. Every time someone hears me say that, they have serious trouble grasping that as even a possibility. The other big one on my list is The Godfather. I've sort of seen it once before, the only thing was I was asleep a third of the way into it and was very out of it for the parts of it that I was awake for. Obviously the reviews for both movies are very positive and both have been regarded as must-see's for everyone. And I haven't seen them yet, so there's a problem there.

God Tim, you talk too much. I also haven't seen either of those movies, but I don't really care for seeing those movies, either. I don't really know why. I have actually seen some of caddyshack but I didn't really like it, i didn't think it was that funny. I would imagine godfather to be a good movie but it doesn't cross my mind when i am trying to figure out what to watch.

Tim, first of all, it is beyond ridiculous that you haven't seen either of these movies. Second of all, Caddy Shack is pretty overrated. I mean it's funny, but there are funnier movies (like S.I.C.K.). However, in regards to falling asleep during The Godfather; how could you? Unless you hadn't slept the 5 days prior and just completed a marathon there is no excuse for this. In fact, if you don't watch The Godfather AND The Godfather part II in the next month I will be very disappointed in you and probably won't talk to you for a while.

PS. There is no second of all.

PPS. I just read my message and realized that there was indeed a second of all. I am deeply sorry for this mistake

PPPS. How did Arash comment on your blog at 2:32 PM on October 27. I am almost certain that he was in school, in fact he was probably sitting right next to you

Hey Tim!
I also haven't seen those movies. I think I saw like 5 min of Caddy Shack and I wasn't really into it. The Godfather looks pretty good and it seems like everyone likes that movie. So maybe I will see it...

I'm going to have to agree with Ben. S.I.C.K. is probably one of the greatest movies of all time. Godfather is an amazing series (sans III). It truly is a must see for anyone with something between their legs.

you're damn right there's a problem with you not seeing them! It is my honest opinion that watching those two essential pieces of American film will no only open your mind to the true extent of cinema, but it will do no less than make you a better all around person. Watch these movies, 'cause long story short they are awesome

Tim the whole time I was reading your blog I thought you were Jimmy. Well now that I know whos blog it is I guess it makes more sense. Yeah you should see caddyshack. What kind of childhood did you have if you never saw that?

Same thing happened to me about Caddy-Shack. I always heard how funny it was, I've seen it listed as the best comedy ever on some critics lists, so I thought I might as well watch it.

It sucked. My hopes were so high for the film that it really didn't work for me.
